Philadelphia-Area Collegiate Cooperative Rebrand
The Project
The Philadelphia-Area Collegiate Cooperative, or PACC, is a cooperative higher-ed purchasing organization with over twenty member colleges—but virtually no brand standards.
The goal was to create a visually appealing and cohesive branding package that would give the group a more professional feel. This would, in turn, generate more member interest and allow PACC to court more established and reputable vendors.
When creating the brand mark i wanted to make sure it was representative of its collaborative spirit while also being easily recognizable. With this in mind, I went with hands reaching toward the iconic Liberty Bell representing unity—and Philly of course. I chose purple since it’s one of the most underutilized colors in collegiate branding; preventing associations with any one school.
Unfortunately, this project was abandoned after PACC member, University of the Arts, closed abruptly on June 7, 2024.
